The University of Georgia American Choral Directors Association (UGACDA) is a student-led chapter of the American Choral Directors Association that supports the activities and concerts of the University of Georgia Choirs, promotes excellence in the field of choral music, and advances the professional aspirations of its individual members. The seven member choirs of UGACDA include the UGA Hodgson Singers, University Chorus, Men's Glee Club, Women's Glee Club, Repertory Singers, Collegium Musicum, and the African American Choral Ensemble.

UGACDA's Mission

  • To support the activities and community of University of Georgia Choirs.

  • To create a forum for the exchange of ideas to promote choral singing.
  • To supply members with an enriched academic and social experience.
  • To encourage attendance at state, regional, and national conferences.
  • To provide leadership and service opportunities within departmental activites.
  • To sponsor the invitation of clinicians and guest-artists to work with members and member choirs.
  • To sponsor off-campus outreach clinics and performances, both in the community and overseas.
